It has been over a week since we attended the 22nd Annual Leakage Conference on Thursday 17th March. The conference brought together the leakage community to discuss, debate and network. It was great how the day incorporated a variety of speakers from independent contractors to Utility Companies, who brought up issues and solutions to their various problems. The topics that were covered were Delivering on the Ambition, Innovation Forum and Meeting the Reduction Challenges – Technical and Operational Developments Forum. The leakage conference website states that the conference explored the latest developments and topics that are shaping our industry, as well as supporting those involved in meeting the leakage reduction targets of AMP7 and beyond.
Some of our Management team, Tom, Li Li and David have had chance to reflect upon the day and said “The leakage conference was both informative and stimulating. It’s always interesting to see the latest innovations that are out there and to understand where the water industry is heading with the Leakage Routemap for 2050”.
